Description:

This is a painting of the sphinx in Eygpt in the early 1900's prior to other discoveries in the sands near it. In the foreground loom two camels relaxing the in bright Eygptian sun, riderless and in wait. This painting was executed in an impressionistic style. (The bright spots on the painting are a reflection from the linseed oil that was used and is not on the actual painting).
