Description:
At a Christmas/New Year's feast in Camelot, only Sir Gawain takes up The Green Knight's challenge to a head chopping contest. This is, of course, a trick as the Green Knight is an enchanted being.
He is seen here making his grand entrance into the hall itself to issue his challenge.
The Green Knight is one in my series of "Camelot Legends" images. It is done in mixed media consisting of Dr Martin's Dyes and Berol color pencils.
