Description:

This is a silk hanging. The image was derived from a photograph of one of the world's oldest trees. It is documented that the Mormans, as they were traveling through the South West, saw this tree with its limbs uplifted towards heaven, as if the tree were praying, so the Mormans named it after the prophet Josua. French dyes and gutta resist were used to create the tree, and brillliant sunset. Silk hanging can be displayed using a dowel, or can be mounted and framed. available at http://mysticsilks.etsy.com
