Thanks for the comments. As you said in your bio " Last time around" I have a few years on you so I can relate to that as I have been changing my attitude regarding use of color by not conforming to what is considered"normal". My architectural training has been confining my work to accurate colors I decided it was time to change. Oh yeah I think your work is exceptional; love the drama in this and other work. Donn

Nice work! Dave, why would you title it "The Last Supper"? Was it the last of a vacction?

Great job - it's an interesting perspective an effective reminder to push ourselves to be something greater than we are right now.

I would like you to share a similar experience that I have had in the late 1980s. I wanted to express something that I had not seen in all of the religious paintings that I had seen. Finally, I find that another artist has experienced the same spiritual desire to really get into the body of Christ. In my case it was the desire to experience his agony on the cross. It is an epiphany for me looking at your Last Supper.

What a gift you have given us in this painting,Dave. There is much to ponder in this painting regarding relationships:(God,ourself, and with others) They all have to be in harmony. Thank you and God bless you! His Peace- His Love-and Unity with one another. Marlene

Hi Everyone, I am still here and still thanking everyone for stopping by and examining my work. The weekly reports from FAA still tell me this is the most visited piece I have created. How nice to have made us all think about who we are and who we could be. Thanks again for all the kind comments. - Dave

I love this painting Dave, and it speaks so loud to the viewer. Come dine with me as He offer the bread of life which no man can give and no man can take away. Wonderful! Blessed Savior! I love it!

Love this!We observe such a one-eyed view of the Lord Supper by taking communion on say a Sunday when in fact its about breaking bread with loved ones or like minded folk and giving thanks for all that He has provided every day or whenever we get together in His name!So beautifully painted and love the perspective!

this is a wonderful painting. I like the intimate familial sensibilities. Color is good too. I am surpirsed at the beautiful colors I see that are real, but not photographic reality. I like the colors that dance on the water after the sun sets and maybe a couple of lights are echoing in the distance. I just paint color and music. I love to draw people though.
