The Morning After
The Forests Edge Photography - Diane Sandoval
It was 14 degrees the morning I went out to the Garden of the Gods. It was a wonderland of ice and fog and the morning sunlight through the fog barely warmed the earth, but the leaves and trees glistened. It was as if Garden of the Gods was transformed by time and separate from the rest of the world. The light was some of the most beautiful I have ever seen, so diffuse and glowing. I stayed, transfixed there for four hours!
