The Paul Bunyan Hotel
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
For many years, this statue of Paul Bunyan was the symbol of Lakewood WI. As a converted Muffler Man, he served as a reminder of the community's roots in the lumber industry. When a fire destroyed the hotel around 2005, Paul was saved, only to be tragically sold out of the area. The original watercolor painting is part of a series of twelve iconic buildings in the Lakewood WI area painted by Kris Parins from 2002 - 2004. Somerset Velvet paper is recommended for prints.
