Description:

This is the 2003 remake version of my 1989 "The Resurrection of the Shoe" I remade it to put my four children in it( I symbolize my four children as four golden birds and also the four golden pillars, to represent them as my four guardian angels, whom God used to get me through the absolute toughest times of my life back in 1989, by their pure simple inocent love for their father, who had always been there for them and at that time they were totally there for me and carried me through, with their love. This colored pencil painting took 350 hours to do. My precious granddaughter, Trinity Rayne calls it "off to See the Wizard"

Hi Steve, First, I must thank you for your very nice words about my work. High praise coming from someone who does work of your calibre. We are kindred spirits in that I spent and spend a lot of my time in the areas of surrealism and fantasy when I work in the areas of drawing and sculpture. Have done so since the days of art college. I have loved the work and mind of Salvador Dali forever. Your work is beautiful - very time consuming and obviously a labor of love. Beautiful.
