Description:

In all of romantic lore, a man brings flowers to the woman he loves. A rose is considered the most perfect of all flowers. As Christ longs for His bride, which is His church, He gives Himself not as a token or treasure, but as a Triune--Father, Son and Spirit. In the desert of life, when we are arid-bankrupt in emotions, health and relationships, a rose, plucked from full bloom is offered atop the living Word. One must only peel back the page of promise for sustenance on their journey. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life." John 3:16. The Rose of Sharon, by any other name, is Jesus Christ.
