This painting is the first one of the year and was finished on 1/22/09. The Sacred Wave has many layers with genuine 22K gold leaf over 80% of the surface. The writing in the Sky reads: Om Mani Padme Hum ( Tibetan for "The Jewel Is In The Lotus".
