Very dynamic and intriguing work Charlie. Ruisdael, Cuyp and Hobbema were a few more Dutch landscape painters who might appreciate this!! LF!!

Thank you Ylli! The Northen Rensissance painters like Cranach made landscape a separate genre. It's good to chat about art history and what they can teach us. Hockney did a book on older painters about Giottos time using mirrors to reproduce nature like the help from a camera lucida. All the markers in the painting suggest the use of a reproduction technique with a concave mirror.
