Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
The view from the window looking "down" into the streets reveals the narrow exit from the ghetto that confines the youth, burdened by miseducation and poverty. They seek self-entertainment by hanging out in the streets playing Russian roulet against that ubiquitous blue wall that constricts their efforts to escape the cul-de-sac of their daily existance. The only redeptive institution that seeks to assuage their distress is the church. Even within the neighborhood there are those who would "look down" from their "cracked' windows onto those who would seek recreation in the streets.
