Description:

Dr. Jane Goodall has been an iconic hero of mine since I was about 8 years old. It was then I began reading about her research with chimpanzees in the National Geographic magazine, and when I decided to become a wildlife biologist. I was able to meet Dr. Goodall in 1990, when I found out her North American Jane Goodall Institute was located in Tucson, AZ, where I was living at the time. I was then 33 years old. I presented to her the original wax of this edition, which she greatly honored me by autographing my sculpture that day. $1000 dollars of this purchase price is a donation to her continued work. 13"H X 17"L X12" W
