Description:

This was taken from a photograph of a Cooper's hawk. The hawk, the evergreen branches and the dead trees in the background are all totally done with thread. The fabric was hooped to prevent distortion. Watercolor paints were used to add shadows in the snow. This piece is not quilted or bordered. It can be stretched on a canvas or framed, whichever you wish.
