I feel the white bishop may have to wait his turn....looks anxious, too eager putting his king in jeopardy. My recollection is the white bishop cannot move first (in a true chess match)...Nice depiction of the battle. Karen

Hi Terrance, Have enjoyed your insightful comments on the various threads and see that penetrating vision shows up on your painting substrate as well. White Bishop needs to look around the corner for that darned black Knight so effective in a tight forest like this one. This a fine piece of work in the classically abstract manner of profound composition and energetic brush work.
