@ Joni - Thank you! @ Baard - actually you need a couple feet of distance to see the colors shift - depending on the ambient lighting and your position, the colors will go from flat to vibrantly visible from Violet to Blue to Green or the other way around...

Thank you Joy - what I wish would translate in this online image that can only be appreciated in the original is the Northern Lights - they were painted with something called "Interference Colors" (by Golden Paints), which basically shift color depending upon where you stand, so as you move past the painting, the Northern Lights shift from Blue to Green to Violet - fluid motion like the real thing - it's pretty cool.
