Wow, this is absolutely stunning. Is it possible to know how u make this paintings? Is it all done in a computer with digital components? I am used to old painting technics like oils and acrylics, do u use any of these anymore? Congratulations.

Eric Edelman replied:

Thanks very much for being the first to comment on this piece, & for your kind words. All of the collages I've posted on Fine Art America are done digitally within a computer, exploiting the almost limitless capabilities of Photoshop. This particular digital collage (& it is a DIGITAL collage, completely done within a computer & using a computer program) relies heavily upon the Photoshop features of precise shape creation & placement, color manipulation, & separation of elements on individual layers. I find that using Photoshop for this kind of geometric collaging gives results superior to any I could achieve through painting.by hand. Although I originally started out as a painter, I have largely set it aside in favor of working with collage (both physical & digital), folded-&-cut paper design, & found object sculpture.
