This is my favorite of your Native American peices, love the white on the black canvas. Also, to answer your question, yes I did enjoy the lizard pic, although it become far more time consuming than I thought it would be. Once again, thanks.

This is amazing! Almost as good as the original by Edward S. Curtis created in 1910, actually it looks identical !

And that was my reference. Hard to find anything on Native Americans that hasn't been done a million times.. but this one just looked like it would work on scratchboard.. and I just had to try it..

A wonderfully detailed likeness of Nez Perce, which roughly translated, is ''Grandfather of Keith Richards.''

Thank you, Barbara - just now saw your comment. I love this and chose it to go with Waya since the Nez Perce in Idaho loaned their land to the Sawtooth Wolf project (a disaster in my opinion but the intentions were good). As for the 15 year thing, this is a first. I noticed something in it that didn't interest me in pursuing at the time but does now. By the way, you should do more black and white, but then I'm partial.

Thanks Barbara. You may not know but I am an American history nut as well as just plain nuts. Your superb work is why I don't even attempt to render the historical scenes that thrill me so much. I'll stick to writing about them and leave the visual to you.
