What beautiful layers of earth and clouds. Again, you are so well with light, especially very slanted light.

Los Gatos, CA - United States

I Love your cloud paintings best of all.....do MORE.

Smithfield, VA - United States

GARY, I think I may have said this previously, but I will repeat it. If I could paint like you I would be walking on AIR. Your clouds alone...not to mention the surroundings, are awesomely appealing. Shine on, Anne

Beverly Hills, CA - United States

I did not know which of your paintings to choose to tell you how much I like them, the colors, composition, rendering....They are all great!

Description:

On an art vacation in New Mexico, while plalying a late afternoon game of backgammon with Karoline, I noticed a dramatic shift in the light outdoors. I went out for a quick look, and then right back in to get my camera. The images shot resulted in a number of oil sketches, and then this painting.
