Description:

I wanted to capture some of the tropical essence of my visits to the islands. The light from the sun just before dusk yield dark shadows. The flame from the torch mitigates the deep relief highlighting the beautiful colors in the leaves, while the trade winds waft the heat. I can smell of the oil burning. The subtle textures and colors of the leaves is exquisite.
