Time For Hula

Ukuleles and the Hawaiian culture are synonymous. This is a favorite among Hawaiian instruments, though it originally was introduced from Portugal, I believe.
The red feathered object is a gourd known as an UliUli. It is shaken like a rattle. Then there are those gorgeous leis, necklaces made of local flowers that are so fragrant you never want to take them off.
These are two of my ukuleles and an ipu with leis - a sure symbol of good times about to happen.
