On a summer morning in Rocky Mountain National Park, I could have chosen from any number of locations to shoot. Something told me to head for Sprague Lake on the east side of the park. I got to the parking lot early in the morning a little while before sunrise.
I found that the lake looked very pretty although the breeze made reflections a bit difficult. So in walking around, I did some scouting of more good locations to keep in-mind for future visits. When I got to the west side of the lake, I came across this mother daughter pair of deer that made the whole trip worthwhile.
