Description:

This is a large painting. Painting impressionistic dabs layer after layer made me appreciate Monet in many different ways, including the body aches. I realized why the paint on the waterlilies is so thick. He had to keep applying layer after layer until it felt balanced to him. That told me how long he must have painted to get there. I felt I was talking to Monet and Seurat the whole time I was painting .
