Thanks Rae, This is what I can river stone. I dig them up in the summer when the streans are dry . These stones are ususlly quite flat and can be be cut with a hammer and chisel. This particular stone was a very small section of a much larger piece that I dug up and hauled home.

Description:

This miniature stone painting (5" x 7" x 4") depicts my nephew's dog �Tripper� going flat out just after catching his favorite "tennis ball in sock" toy. He was ripping it up in our back yard with our two dogs after the previous evening�s snow storm. He had so much fun.
