Description
Vickie and I dearly love to shoot pics from the trolley car in downtown Memphis. As it loops around the city there are always precious souls that catch the trolley at the stops along the way. This particular day an elderly black gentleman strained to pull himself aboard; and then sat down about eight feet from me. His face was as leathery as these laboring hands. His mind was elsewhere as we hobbled along and I watched him in secret, and then once I realized his minds eye was following an old sweetheart of long, long ago down the granite cobblestones; to board the Memphis Queen for a breezy, April river-ride that is when I zoomed in and went click. May the Lord use this image in your home to remind you daily that the works of our hands are blessed, and do not go unnoticed.
