This is an image from Goa, Anjuna Beach. Some times just before the sun sets, the cloud density is exactly right and the sky starts going really dark shade of red.
It was a full moon night, and I knew it was going to be dangerous high tides. I tried twice before getting this picture, but I got it right only the third time.
The natural rocks have deposits and shells on them, giving them a slimy appearance. They are also really sharp, Hence the spray.
The rocks start a bit far from where I was standing for this picture, and because of that, the crashing waves form an emulsion of water and air, Giving it a relatively calm appearance.
