Description:

This Grumman TBM-3 is seen dropping retardant on a brush fire in the Anza area of Southern California. Formerly a US Navy torpedo bomber, Hemet Valley Flying Service owned several of these trusty planes. The pilot's that flew them nicknamed them the "Turkey".
