Description:
A 40' x 60' Berol pencil drawing on Stonehenge white. 'Two Tornadoes' won first place drawing and the Bronze medal at ART USA juried competition the Western Colorado Center for the Arts . "TWO TORNADOES" was inspired by Cowboy poet Ty Strong whose poem came to the conclusion that it be a bad thing if seven tornadoes came roaring out the sky and hit Comanche Peak Nuclear Facility that wasn't all that far away from Fort Worth's gentle citizens. I agreed with the essence of his premise and did this drawing.
I entered this large drawing in four different competitions that year and it won Best of Show in three out of the four and then I retired it by selling it.
It currently resides in La Canada, California.
The original drawing purchased by Lisa Martinez,La Canada, California. Prints are now available.
