Under The Sunflower's Spell
Photograph - Photograph With Digital Touch
Everywhere I go, I take my nikon camera. On the day I took this photograph, I was out running errands and saw this beautiful sunflower. It called me to take its photograph and so I did.
Some interesting information on sunflower seeds:
The flower produces grayish-green or black seeds encased in a tear shaped gray or black shell that can have black and white stripes. You can purchase them without the shells.
Did you know that sunflower seeds are very healthy food. They contain vitamin E, B1, B6, manganese, copper, trytophan, magnesium, selenium, phosphorus, and foliate.
They are a very healthy snack. The benefits are anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular as well as lowering cholesterol. The phystosterols are found in sunflower seeds and help to reduce blood levels of cholesterol, enhance the immune response and can descrease risk of some cancers. Believe it or not, sunflower seeds can calm your nerves, muscles and blood vessels.
