Description:
This drawing has been my biggest challenge to date. I chose the scene and large size to help me learn colored pencils and patience. Nearly 60 hours spread out over 13 months has taught me valuable lessons. There are a dozen species of coral, five species of fish, and several other animals. I deliberately chose species native to the Great Barrier Reef to ensure they all would be found in the same area in real life.
