Description:

This is one of a series called Hedrons, short for polyhedrons; multi-sided geometric solids. In this case I use the form of an icosahedron, a shape built from 20 equal triangular planes. The Inside contains a mysterious 3 dimensional world lit by hidden transparent panels and fiber optic rods which illuminate the interior space when outside light is transferred to the inside by fiber optics and mirrors. Many materials are used to construct the internal space creating a surreal effect.
