Description:

Along a river’s edge on a foggy day the autumn foliage has a muted elegance. From a ground-up view, the thinning foliage recedes into the fog as your vision carries you up into the sky. The staccato leaf pattern and curvilinear flow of the branches add a musical flow to the foggy vista. I sign my work “Gabriel” in dedication to the lasting effect of my Italian grandfather who cultivated my love of nature and forests.
