Description:

This industrial paint on canvas painting was created using a combination of pours and folds. This technique create a very symmetric image that contains a lot of texture due to the amount of paint that is used.

Vertebrae is titled after the central column of white paint. As I visualized this painting, I wanted to produce an interpretation of a color MRI of the back. There is white for bone, shades of red for muscle, blue for veins and yellow for nerves.
