Description
We took a walking tour of Dorset England in 1989. Ipainted this view from Knowle Hill on the Purbeck Ridgeway. It was in Aug. and there hadn't been rain for many weeks. The ground was bleached deep yellow against dark green trees and foliage. I think the old church in the distance is St. Peters in Church Knowle but I am not sure. The walking trip was one of the best vacations we ever had. I wish I could go back there.
