This is a very emotive painting and expresses the sadness and frustration that poor Vincent suffered during his short life. Don Maclean's melancholy voice adds a further poignancy. (I've got this on Vinyl somewhere). A fitting tribute!

Hi Anneke, What a lovely painting of Vincent. Very nicely done and by the way he is one of my favourite painters. Nog bedankt voor je commentaar op mijn "Curious Camels". Kamelen zijn hele leuke, nieuwsgierige dieren met een eigen karakter en ik schilder ze graag.
