Description:
Reminiscent of the song "Today" by The New Christy Minstrels this lovely wine sac and table caddy evoke sweet thoughts of strawberries and vines. "Today while the blossoms still cling to the vine; I'll taste your strawberries; I'll drink your sweet wine; a million tomorrows shall all pass away-ere I forget all the joy that is mine today. Today is my moment and now is my story I'll laugh and I'll cry and I'll sing." This lovely organic yarn knitted/felted into a lovely striping pattern reminding me of rows of vines in a vineyard. I knitted/felted the strawberries & vines separately and then needle felted them onto each piece. The tall wine sac carries the bottle and the caddy with handles sits on the table keeping the wine at the proper temperature. Swarovski crystal beads embellish the ends of the ICORD tie giving this work a sparkling presentation.
