Description:

War, An Allegory combines watercolor pencil with pastel washes, ink and marker. It was done as a reaction to Desert Storm, the first, but also speaks for my feelings on war throughout the ages, that innocents die and it's a shame that world leaders across the board can't come up with better ways to settle differences and give a legacy to children everywhere, globally, of peace. This painting was eventually incorporated into my series Blue Heart Diary, released via Indieflix.com as part of Captioned Closeness.
