Description:

"War". I had this idea in my head for quite a while, I didn't want to do an anti-war painting, but rather a painting that would show the suffering of war. I did this painting using only 2 colors, plus white. I used Prussian Blue, and Burnt Sienna. The use of this limited palette really gives this painting a gritty and dark feel' while keeping a color base that looks good with most interior decors. This painting is framed with an old oak frame I picked up at a yard sale. It shows its age and isn't very fancy, just right for this painting. I have this painting at $450. This painting is 22"x28"
