Watching The River Go By
Photograph - Infrared Film
Puppy was all tuckered out after playing hard in the yard! and following his owners lead opted to stop and smell the roses so to speak. When I saw this scene I realized what a nice shot it would make and had to run back into the house and hope the moment wouldn't pass. Luckily for me it didn't. Unseen is the north branch of the Susquehanna river which will eventually wind it's way through valleys and farmlands until emptying into the Chesapeake Bay.Both the puppy and his master seem to be enjoying a restive moment with the puppy finding the perfect headrest. Puppies can be such a blast of fun and all the while a bond is forming that will last a lifetime. Their loyalty will always be to you and in return expect little more than your companionship and the ocassional tummy rub. Your responsibility to them though requires a bit more than that in the form of keeping them properly fed and healthy with regular trips to the veteranarian to stay current with inocculations and rabies shots.
This particular photo was shot using a 35 mm SLR camera using Kodaks HIE infrared film.
