Description
Harlow in Essex, is a new town, built after World War 2. Designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd (1908-1984), the town offered new hope of a modern post war life. In it's heyday, Harlow was indeed a modern town for the masses. The strong lines of it's architecture have become chipped and cracked over the past fifty years or so, it looks dated, neglected, and is even hated. However, if you look around, you will find the odd jewel, such as the Water Gardens.
