Description:

I woke up with this image in my head. I went to work on it right away and took it to work with me (I am a counselor with at-risk youth) to finish it during my down times. When I got to work I learned that a young woman had committed suicide during a home visit with her family. The other girls at the facility were struggling with their emotions/feelings following the difficult news. Several of them took comfort and found peace in this drawing and requested prints to hang on their walls, to remind them that life will go on . . . even for the young woman to took her life as we knew it.
