Description:

A Blue Whale's tail. It can measure up to 30' wide. In this painting, a Blue Whale is about to sound. Upon her rising to the surface, she scatters small prey fishes and plankton. It is these that the seagulls are interested in. I handled this in more of a watercolor technique with my acrylic paints for a looser feel.

I can hear the "splash" the seagulls, the wind, and oh.. that iodine smell ... Thank you for this " in my bubble, daydreaming" moment.
