A Southern Hemisphere Humpback whale shows his/her fluke (tail) while diving near the Pearl Islands, Panama. During July-October the humpbacks from the southern tip of Chile, migrate north to the warm waters near Panama to mate and birth. It is estimated that over 1200 of these magnificent mammals can be found around the Pearl Islands during this annual migration. A great place for whale watching Panama. Captured with a Canon 60D with a 75-300mm lens.
