One of the structures that really stood out to me was the Whalehead Club Footbridge, in Corolla, North Carolina. I loved the wooden structure and how the salt water and salt air has brought out the detail in the wood. I also love trees and this particular tree has so much character. I tried shooting this from different angle and this one was my favorite. The Whalehead Club was originally built in the 1920s, this magnificent residence has been restored to its original grandeur and is open for tours year round. Located inside Currituck Heritage Park, the museum is situated on 39 acres of pristine waterfront property, and is located in the heart of Historic Corolla.
