White Roses - Purge Me With Hyssop
Photograph - Photographic Art
These lovely single white roses reminded me of this wonderful verse in Psalms 51:7 that King David spoke after repenting of his sin of adultry with Bathsheba, and arranging to have her husband Uriah killed so he could have her for himself and to hide her pregnancy. True repentance means turning the other way from the direction we are going. God knows if repentance is from the heart. But if it is, this verse will apply to our lives, no matter how sinful we have been. Jesus said to the woman taken in adultery, " Go and sin no more". When we repent we will be as pure as a snow white flower, and have peace and joy in our souls. And we will one day see His lovely face.
