Ana, I've never heard of using beeswax and can't help asking if it will melt. Please forgive my ignorance. Very good abstract. Speaking of heat I definitely feel it from this.

Thank you very much Steve! Regarding your question about melting, the temperature needs to reach more than 150 degrees to start to soften the beeswax. Anyway, as with any other piece of art, it is not recommended to hang an encaustic painting near a heat source or expose it to direct sunlight.

I think this is really stunning Ana, encaustic painting is something I seriously want to experiment after Christmas. I wish I could get a good supply of beeswax, I suppose it's the best, like doing batik work? I love this V/F
