Description
This courtyard fountain has offered me a quiet, peaceful place to have lunch with friends and family for years. Located in the inner courtyard of the beautiful Winchester Mansions Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, it seemed appropriate to paint this idyllic scene in the location of my first one-man exhibition in South Africa.
In this detailed painting, you can almost hear the water dripping from the fountain, as you become overwhelmed by the colour of the bougainvilla vines as they cascade from above.
