Winter Soup And Wine
Painting - Oil On Panel

The stemless wine goblet pictured in left lower corner was the perfect balance of texture and color for the feeling I wished to evoke. The shiny spoon appears to shimmy in anticipation of the soup. I really like the blob of orange/red at the lower right. This is a really small piece for me, about post card size which I had never tried before. I wish all of my paintings went this easy (You painters know what I mean). Please view my galleries of other edibles.
