FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
This photograph was taken while I was aboard a charter fishing boat leaving from Oceanside, New York located on the south shore of Long Island the day after Christmas for some blackfishing. As we slowly made our way through the canals at 5 mph at 6:30am I noticed the sun just about to come over the horizon. I grabbed my camera and began taken various photos from different angles. Upon getting home that night and reviewing the photos from that day I could not believe how the sun had given just enough light to color the sky purple which in turn reflected beautifully off of the water. This was a classic Winter Sunrise with a nice silhouette capture of the trees to the right of the photo. There was never any photoshop or color manipulation done to this photo. The way you see it now is exactly how I took it that cold day in December (on the Day after Christmas).
