Description
It's summer in Northern Wisconsin and the birch trees are filled with bright green leaves that sparkle in the yellow sunlight. At the bottom of the hillside nestled between the trees sits the pale blue water of Winslow Lake.
As I paint this scene I'm reminded of the warm breeze whisping past my cheeks, as I stare down at the water, contemplating a swim. Above me I hear the laughter of my family at play, coming from the cabin, and I feel completely at peace and happy with my place in the world.
