Description:

This Sumatran tiger is my first drawing using Derwent's new tinted charcoal - charcoal with clay pigment added to give it a touch of color. Sumatran tigers are the second most endangered tiger subspecies, with fewer than 500 remaining in the wild. Complete 2009. Original is unframed.
